Pastured Eighth Bacon Hog

from $92.00
sale

North Fork Farms raises pastured Kunekune pigs on fresh pastures, alfalfa hay and certified ORGANIC grains. This heritage breed produces deep red meat that is beautifully marbled - unlike anything you can buy in the store. And because this is a breed that can be pastured, it is full of healthy Omega fatty acids. Our processed Eighth Bacon Hog offers an easy bulk ordering option as your processing fees are included! Rather than negotiating a cut-form at the butcher and paying for an unknown hanging weight, and buying a massive Half Hog you pay one set price for the manageable package below. Processed at a small shop and free delivery within 100miles from the farm.

The Eighth Bacon Hog includes (total ~9-11lbs retail cuts):

  • 1 pack Petite Boneless Center Chops or 1 Shoulder Roast (~1-2lbs)

  • 1-2 packs traditional Belly Bacon (1-2lbs)

  • 3-6 packs additional bacon: Cottage Bacon, Loin Bacon, Jowel Bacon (3-5lbs)

  • 1 pack Ham Steaks (1-2lbs) and/or 1 pack Bratwursts (1lbs)

  • 1-2 packs Breakfast Sausage Links (1-2lbs)

  • 1-2 packs Bulk Seasoned Sausage (2-3lbs)

*By request, we can usually substitute unseasoned ground pork for any of the ground items above (sausage or brats). Unfortunately, this is the only substitute we can accommodate.
