Pastured Half Hog
Payment plans are possible for Half Hogs - contact Emily below!
North Fork Farms raises pastured Kunekune pigs on fresh pastures, alfalfa hay and certified ORGANIC grains. This heritage breed produces deep red meat that is beautifully marbled - unlike anything you can buy in the store. And because this is a breed that can be pastured, it is full of healthy Omega fatty acids. Our processed half-hog offers an easy bulk ordering option as your processing fees are included! Rather than negotiating a cut-form at the butcher and paying for an unknown hanging weight, you pay one set price for the cuts below. Processed at a small shop and free delivery within 100miles from the farm.
The Half Hog includes (total ~38-40lbs retail cuts):
2-4 packs Petite Boneless Center Chops (~4-8lbs)
1-2 Shoulder Roasts or Pork Steaks (~4-6lbs)
1 Whole Ham, or Ham Steaks, smoked (~6-8lbs)
Side of Ribs (~1lbs)
4-6 packs Bacon (4-6lbs)
3-5 packs Cottage Bacon, Cottage Bacon, and/or Jowl Bacon (2-6lbs)
2-3 packs Breakfast Sausage Links (2-3lbs)
2-3 packs Bulk Seasoned Sausage (2-3lbs)
1-2lbs Bratwursts (1-2lbs)
*By request, we can usually substitute unseasoned ground pork for any of the ground items above (sausage or brats). Unfortunately, this is usually the only substitute we can accommodate.
